CDA Summer Intensive 2024
CDA is thrilled to announce the return of our Summer Intensive! Open to dedicated dancers aged 10 and above, our Summer Intensive stands as a testament to excellence in dance education, featuring a curated curriculum that encompasses Ballet, Contemporary, and Commercial Jazz.
Our 2024 Summer Intensive begins with a placement class on the first day, a pivotal step to tailor the experience to the individual needs and capabilities of each participant.
We are also pleased to announce that our Summer Intensive is open to non-CDA students!

Autism NS
This summer, we will be offering our Summer camp again in July and August. Our one-on-one style camp will be located upstairs at Maggie’s Place on 1027 Prince Street in Downtown Truro.
Summer camp is one of the highlights of our year with campers from all over Colchester and East Hants. Families can register their camper at Regional Summer Camps – Autism Nova Scotia
Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor play, trips to Victoria Park for the trails, playground and the pool. Trips to the Truro Library and civic square whenever fun family events are held, and our Camp Coordinator will be arranging other fun outings and short trips where possible as Summer gets closer.
We are also working hard on our Walk YOUR Way fundraising walk, which is coming up on June 8th at the HUB Shopping Centre. Families and friends can register at Walk YOUR Way for Autism Nova Scotia. You are welcome to register as an individual as well. All funds raised from the walk stay right here in Truro to support Summer camp and upcoming social programs. Get ready to rock this summer with Long & McQuade Truro Summer Rock Camp!
Join us for an epic musical adventure from July 15th to July 19th, where you’ll unleash your inner rock star and jam with fellow musicians!
