Meet Anna
Hi, I’m Anna, the person behind Truro Buzz!
I took over Truro Buzz in September 2025, but I’ve called the Truro and Colchester area home for most of my life. I already knew how much I loved this community, but running Truro Buzz has given me an entirely new appreciation for the people, businesses, organizations and little corners of Colchester that make it what it is.
When I took over, one of the things that mattered most to me was keeping Truro Buzz rooted in community. I never wanted it to feel like just another advertising page. I wanted it to be a place where you could find out what’s happening this weekend, discover somewhere you’ve never been, learn about a local organization doing incredible work, or meet one of the many people quietly making a difference here.
And over the past year, that has become an even bigger part of what I love about doing this.
I love telling people’s stories. I love finding the things happening in our community that deserve a little more attention. And I love being able to use this platform to remind people that there is actually a lot happening right here in our own backyard.
Truro Buzz is still growing and evolving, and so am I. But at the heart of it is something pretty simple: I want this to be a place that helps people feel more connected to this community and to each other.
