It’s every parent’s concern: What’s the best way for your child to spend his or her free time during summer and school breaks? To some, it’s a time for children to play and have fun. For others, it’s an opportunity for kids to hone their studies or learn new skills. Below is a list of some of the awesome day camps that are happening in and around Colchester area this summer!

Rath Eastlink Community Centre

Check out the RECC’s exciting Summer 2022 Day Camp Programming! Each week campers will get to participate in their favorite RECC activities, spend Thursdays at Victoria Park, unleash their inner artist, and get moving!
Activities include climbing, skating, swimming, games, tennis, and crafts. Skating takes place every Tuesday and Friday unless indicated below in weekly schedule

For each day of camp, participants are required to bring the following items: water, hat, sunscreen, lunch, snacks, towel, bathing suit, skates, helmet and a craft safe tshirt.

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we are able to offer lunch service!

Registration
We welcome those interested in registering for the full week of day camps first:
“In person only” registration for full camp weeks begins on Tuesday, May 31st at 9:00am
for members and Wednesday, June 1st at 9:00am for the general public.

If you are interested in registering for individual days:
Online registration for full weeks and individual days opens on Monday, June 6 at 9:00am.

Truro All Star Cheer & Tumble

For Ages 5-12 yrs

Camps are run by experienced Senior athletes giving them the opportunity to grow as a leader, providing them the opportunity to share their knowledge as well as giving them a chance to learn new skills towards becoming a coach.

A great way to get started in Cheerleading, although experience is not necessary.
This camp is designed for boys and girls with or without experience. There will be some aspects of Cheerleading also day trips, crafts and games. Register here.

Cobequid Spartans Gymnastic and Trampoline 2022 Summer Camp

$45 single day camp (June only) // $140 4-day camp // $175 5-day camp
New members are also required to pay $45 GNS fee
All participants must be 5 years of age as of Dec 31st, 2021.
Maximum age is 12 years old. All camps run 9am – 3:30pm. Registration available here.

Cougar Dome

With summer just around the corner, registration is now open for the Cougar Dome’s Multi Sport Summer Camps! You can register now on our website (https://clubspark.ca/cougardometennis2/Events)!

We offer a wide variety of activities and sports to ensure that all participants have fun and stay active. Camps run Mondays to Fridays beginning July 4th and ending August 26th.

Long & McQuade

Join for a week long camp for the full “ROCK BAND” experience! Students will learn what it’s like to play rock and roll as a group under the guidance of skilled instructors, including a final performance for their loyal fans!
*Ages 9-18
*Camp runs July 11-15 10am-3pm

*$50 deposit required upon registration
