Callinos Ensemble at St. Andrew’s United Church

Oct 14th, 7 p.m. – St. Andrew’s United Church – The flute, cello, piano is an inherently lyrical formation and the name Callinos aims to represent this. It is a combination of the names Calliope, muse of poetry, and Linos, master of the lyre. Composed of Edyelwys Silva, Thomas Chartré, and Jeanne Frenette, Ensemble Callinos presents major works for this unique formation as well as original transcription of canonical repertoire.
