Taco Week is back, baby!
This year we are celebrating all things taco from April 30th to May 6th. We have many returning activities and restaurants and lots of new, dare we say spicy, things to do and tacos to eat.
Tacos, Tacos, Tacos! 🌮
Participating restaurants will offer a signature Taco all week long – every purchase will donate $2 to the Canadian Mental health Association! You can find all the participating restaurants and their dishes here.
Karaoke Kick-Off
Julia’s Lounge is hosting the kick-off to Taco Week Fiesta on Sunday, April 30th with an evening of karaoke. Get ready to sing your heart out from 9pm to 2am! Featuring a drink special that’s a taco-inspired spicy twist on a Canadian classic!
With all of the favourite ingredients of the Original Caesar, Julia’s Lounge Taco Caesar comes in with that extra kick by adding a taco seasoning rim and Taco Bell hot sauce. Garnished with a pickled bean, olive, jalapeño, lime, and a guacamole chip. $7.75 with 15% of EVERY DRINK donated to the CMHA!
Piñata Contest
Will Ecole Acadienne hold on to their title? Will these piñatas be clever and creative? Will the kids making them get covered in glue and paper-mâché? Find out and VOTE for your favourite pinata!
Schools from around Colchester will be creating unique piñatas to celebrate Taco Week! They will be displayed at the Truro Mall, where you can vote for your favourite from April 30th to May 6th. The winning class will receive a pizza party from Truro Greco!
