Pan-African Flag Raising

Truro Town Hall – Jan 29th 12pm. The tri-colour flag consists of three equal horizontal bands which are red, black and green. The red represents the blood which unites all people of Black African ancestry and shed for liberation. Black is for the people whose existence as a nation, though not a nation-state, is affirmed by the existence of the flag. Green is symbolic of the abundant and vibrant natural wealth of Africa, the Motherland.

The event is finished.
