Family Violence Prevention Week – February 14th-20th, 2021

Businesses and employers have a role to play in ending family violence. Educators need to talk to their students about domestic violence, and bring awareness to Family Violence Prevention Week. Friends and family can recognize the signs of abuse in a neighbour, friend, family member or co-worker.

If you witness or suspect abuse or neglect of a child, it is mandatory to report this by calling 1-866-922-2434.

If a loved one is experiencing Domestic Violence, they might not want to talk about it. Be patient. Let them know you’re here for them and there are resources in the community to help, when they are ready.
