Christmas Bird Count

Christmas Bird Count – Shubenacadie Wildlife Park – Dec 19th 9am. The Christmas Bird Count is the longest running citizen science initiative and this year we invite you to be a part of it! Join us for a guided wetland walk to observe and identify the birds who rely on our wetland habitats. We will start with an introduction to birding at the Wetland Centre at 9:00am, before heading out on the trails and to our new Bird Blind. We will also be uploading our data to eBird. The wetland trail is an easy 1km looped trail, and family friendly. Follow the link for registration information.
