10pm – Downtown Truro Fireworks. (Optimal Viewing sites: Civic Square, Riverfront Park and Colchester Legion Stadium.)
10:30am- Annual Canada Day Street Parade leaving St. David’s Avenue and going up Pictou Road, across Johnson Ave and down College Road and across Vimy and then back to St. David’s.
12:30 – 4pm: Festivities will be starting at the Bible Hill Rec Park. There will be plenty of fun including pipe band concret, local musical entertainment, bouncy castles, water balloon activities, the splash pad and more!
8am-10:30am- Breakfast at the Shubie Legion
10am – 3pm- Classic Car Show – at the United Church BBQ & Strawberry Shortcake
10am – 5pm – Tinsmith Museum / Craft Shop – tours local products.
In the Park:
10am-4pm- Bouncy Toys, Food, Kids Carnival, Booths, Batting Cage, Petting Zoo and more.
11am- Zumba by the stage in the park
1pm- Canada Day People Parade- Main Street
2pm- Opening Ceremonies- Welcome, Oh Canada, Canada Day Birthday Cake.
2:30pm- Pizza and Jell-O Eating Contest. Sign up at Shubie Pizza.
3pm- Rubber Duck Race – On the river.
7-10pm- No Where Road concert (Bring a lawn chair)
1:30pm- Ottawa House is having a choir, Flag Raising, birthday cake and their famous cake auction.
Firemans Field Day starts at 10am at the Parrsboro Firehall.
Community Fireworks is at the Aboiteau at dusk, but calendar says 10pm.
Tatamagouche Creamery Square:
10am – 1pm Open Mic, Free celebration cake, crafts and games for everyone.
10am – 1pm Special Canada Day Farmers Market.
10am – 5pm Heritage Centre Open (FREE ADMISSION ALL DAY)
12 noon – BBQ sponsored by BMC
1pm – Cake Cutting at the Historical Train Station & Ed Creelman Park
